Eric is a professional with over thirty years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group settings. Having diverse experience working as a paraprofessional, teacher, case manager, and counselor, he proved to be excelling in both educational and therapeutic fields. During his career development, he worked with various individuals and succeeded in helping special needs patients to manage emotional challenges through interference with their school and personal lives.
Eric has successfully worked with individuals of a wide range of disabilities, including emotional disability, traumatic brain injury, other health impairments, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, autism, anxiety disorder, personality disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, and anger management. Born and raised in Joliet, Illinois, he provided expertise in helping individuals with drug and alcohol addictions at local shelters for homeless people and drug treatment facilities in his region.
Eric has received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree from Thomas University with a Dual Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. Through this educational background, Eric developed expertise in individual and group counseling for a diverse range of adults and children. Moreover, as an ordained minister, Eric managed to incorporate spiritual therapy, person-centered therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy in his sessions. By working with different social groups, Eric is able to implement individual techniques for each patient.
