Shiana Robertson is a dedicated counselor passionate about supporting individuals in maximizing their overall well-being. She is a Rockford native and is deeply committed to serving her community. After spending 11+ years as an educator, she has witnessed firsthand the importance of mental health in a person’s ability to thrive, which inspired her to pursue a career in counseling. She earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and is committed to helping children, adolescents, and individuals navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
Shiana believes that mental health is just as vital as physical health, and strives to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Providing honesty is at the core of her counseling approach, as she believes that open and genuine conversations are essential for growth and healing. Shiana integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and an emphasis on self-discovery and personal empowerment. Mrs. Robertson believes in seeing the humanity in all individuals and meeting each person where they are in their journey.Outside of counseling, Shiana enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, visiting amusement parks, spending time outdoors during the warmer months, and cherishing quality time with her family.Whether working with children, adolescents, or individuals seeking guidance, Shiana’s goal is to provide the support and tools needed to foster growth, healing, and well-being.
